During the winter over the last two years we have seen a Snow Bunting in our garden at Potters Bar. At one stage we were unable to identify it thinking perhaps it was an Albino Sparrow. However last week on the 15th January 2006 we watched the bird through the binoculars and have now positively identified it as being a Snow Bunting. Three of my neighbours have also seen this bird. I have attached a photograph taken from this website of the Snow Bunting, although the bird we saw did not have such distinctive black markings on the wings;
